Playing With Type

June 15th, 2007

The goal with this piece was to experiment with type in a real world environment. We (Sara as well as myself) wanted to create a image that reflected digital imagery, but was not in any way. This piece is a comment on the current state in the design industry, where people seem to be forgetting you can create your work off the computer as well.

The font in the image is a real font designed to be the perfect digital font in the early computer days, but it never took off. The word is “digital”.
